Lord of the Rings

This series of posters was created to celebrate the 60th anniversary publication of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy by JRR Tolkien. I chose to illustrate the bad guys and their respective locations in Tolkien's drawing style because I've always loved his artistic simplicity and the terrifying evil that is overcome in these books. I also gave a nod to the movie trilogy by adopting the helmet shapes that represent Sauron, the Witch King of Angmar, and the Mouth of Sauron.
